Summer Time Fun

Summer 2010 Update
We are looking forward to a fun filled summer. In June our school will be going to Kailua Beach and in July we will have a lot of water play days at school. Be sure your child is at school no later than 7:45 am on field trip day. The bus leaves at 8:00 am. We love for our parents to go on field trips so please join us if you can. Sign up with your child's teacher at least one week before the trip.
August announcement: Calvary Preschool will no longer have a one year old class. In it's place we will have a second two year old class.
A friendly reminder be sure to confirm with the office that your child is registered for August. All children entering the three and four year old classes have to be potty trained. The two year olds do not have to be potty trained.
We have the following openings for August 2010:
   1 - Opening in the Stars two year old class.
0 -  Sea Horses two year old class is full.
0 -   Love Bugs three year old class is full.
2 - Openings in the Monkeys three year old class.
2 - Openings in the Honey Bees four year old class.

Mission

It is the mission of Calvary Episcopal Preschool to provide a fully integrated preschool program to foster the child’s spiritual, social, and emotional growth, as well as their physical and mental development.

The responsiblity of the preschool is to work with families to guide each child in the growth of their total personality. Areas related to Christian living, physical, mental, emotional and social development are all given equal attention when preparing a curriculum to fit the needs of each child. A child’s self expression, creativity, and analytical thinking are worked out in play.

Calvary Preschool offers early learning opportunities for children ages 12 months through 5 years. We provide several different programs to meet the diverse needs of our families including a half day program, a three day program, a school day program, a full day program, and an extended day program.

Each classroom is staffed with qualified, experienced, loving teachers. We maintain low child to staff ratios. We offer a variety of experiences for children in our classrooms and on our four different outdoor playgrounds.
