Hello Families;

I'm looking forward to begin the new school year and getting to know each of the children and each one of the families.  I hope in the first week to be able to talk with each and every one of you for a few minutes to formally introduce myself.  But for now I will tell you about myself.

My Name is Christie Brinkman and to the children I will be either Mrs. Christie or Auntie Christie.  I have been with Calvary since September 2002.  I have worked with mostly in the two year old or the three year old rooms, although I have spent time in each of the age groups.  I have a daughter Sara in the four year old room.  My husband Dan and I have lived in Kaneohe for many years, and we now reside in Temple Valley.  On the weekends, my family and I enjoy to go on the bay with our boat, camp or spend time with our friends.  In my spare time I like to read.

For the first few weeks in school we will be learning about how each of our class mates are simular and different from each other.  We will be learning about our feelings with a curriculum called Second Step.  The children will also learn the routines and help participate in creating the classroom rules.
