Aloha!

The Honeybees are continuing their unit called, "Me!  I Am Special!"  We will continue to talk about feelings, what makes us special and we will begin learning about our amazing bodies and our 5 senses.

We have some exciting things coming up this month:

Open House- September 10, 2008 from 6:30-7:30 pm.

Field Trip- Honolulu Zoo- September 19, 2008.  Please look for sign-up sheets and be a chaperone for our class!

Looking for some other ways to help the Honeybees?  You can donate:

--a tube of toothpaste (we go through a lot each month)

--dress-up items for our home center.  We are especially interested in a boys' aloha shirt (size6-8) or boys' dress shoes (that would fit a 6-8 year old.  We like them a bit big, but not huge)

--empty milk crates, shovels, old aluminum rice pots or cookware, etc. for our sandbox
